Choose the space you need, and nothing more! You can always increase or decrease your storage. You must select one of our 3 plan options. Once you have selected a plan, We will pack all the items in your room, we will store them securely and deliver in your new NSU dorm in the fall. If you live off campus in the fall, additional charges will apply. We are quite confident you will love our pricing!

  • All the programs include access to the Stirit Storage “Virtual Closet” for visibility, of your belongings.
  • All pricing will consider storage for up to 3 months after pickup.
  • *Items in your dorm will be limited to 10 boxes (18x18x16 cardboard boxes) or size equivalent and 1 minifridge.
  • We do not store food, motorcycles/scooters or fuel propelled vehicles, or any hazardous materials (cleaning supplies).
  • **If additional items are to be stored there will be an extra charge of $20 per item/box on top of the 10 assigned boxes.
  • All Stored items will be stored in cardboard boxes.
  • ***Items not included in the rate: couch, futon, second fridge, coffee table, bed, mattress, bookcase, etc. These will have an extra charge of $20 per item.
  • If you are living off campus in the fall, and / or require different pick up or delivery dates from the 2024 program dates, additional charges will apply.
  • Cancellation policy: should you decide to cancel the service purchased there will be a 15% cancellation fee

What is Stirit Storage™?

Stirit is redefining storage in Broward County. You pay per Stirit Storage, eliminating the cost of paying for an entire unit. Additionally, rather than wasting your precious time driving to a storage unit, our team comes to you. We will pick up and deliver your items whenever and wherever.

How do I get started?

First, fill out the form on our website. This includes your name, contact information, credit card information and address. Once you fill out this information, a member from Stirit will call you to discuss details of your pick up. On the day of your pick up, a member from Stirit will call you and let you know when they are on their way.

A Stirit team member will ask for your permission to photograph and enter the inventory information for each storage bin. Your storage bins will then be security-sealed in front of you and we will transport them back to the warehouse for safe storage. When you are in need of something to be returned, our Stirit team is available via phone, email or website to schedule a delivery of your items.

What are your hours of operation?

Pickups and Deliveries may be scheduled 7 Days a week. Our trucks are on the road from 8:00am-8:00pm. You will be notified by phone call or text message when a Stirit team is close by for pick up or delivery. If you require a specific time for delivery or pickup, please let us know to customersupport@stiritstorage.com and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

How are you different than traditional self storage?

Unlike traditional self storage, you do not have to pay for an entire unit, simply pay per storage Stirit. Additionally, you no longer have to waste your time going to a self storage space to pick up your items. Our team will do it for you. Overall, we save you money and time.

My bin will not shut all the way, do I really need another one?

All storage Stirit tops must be completely flat so that they can be securely sealed and stacked.

Can I schedule multiple pickups?

Of course, we are happy to accommodate you. We provide one courtesy pick-up per order. After the second pick up, your credit card will be charged $10 per additional visit on the same order.

Can I go to the warehouse to deliver or pickup my storage?

Stirit was designed around the idea of delivering things to you. We are not set up or staffed to allow for on site access. Should you require a storage Storage, please contact us at customersupport@stiritstorage.com or call at 1-833-4stirit.

Can I use my own boxes or storage?

To ensure optimal storage and security of your items, Stirit will provide you our Storage and wardrobes boxes. We promise you will like them.

How big are the storage bins? How big are the wardrobe boxes?

Storage Bins are:

WARDROBE BOXES ARE:

  • A Stirit wardrobe box is 14 cubic feet, which holds 15-20 hanging clothing items.

How much does Stirit Cost?

The beauty of Stirit is that you only pay for what you use, and the more you use, the more you save! Our program is detailed in the pricing section and will require a one time sign up fee of $29.99. Remember you will not be locked into a plan and you will only pay for what you use.

Where do you store my stuff? Tell me about security.

Stirit uses dedicated facilities to store your products. The warehouse is not open to the public and is under 24-hour surveillance.

How long does it take to get a Stirit Storage™ or wardrobe box back if I need it?

FOR PICK-UPS:

  • Next-day service (or later): FREE

  • Less than three hours notice: $9.99
  • Less than two hours notice: $19.99

FOR DELIVERIES:

  • Next-day service: $2.99

Is my stuff protected?

Yes. The safety of your stuff is our top priority and so we’ll always handle your stuff with extra care. All storage plans include our Basic coverage ($0.60/pound with a max of $24 per bin) for free, or you can upgrade to one of our other monthly plans, which covers your stuff for up to $2,000. But first, check out our storage rules to see what items qualify for coverage and our Terms of Service for more information about our protection plan.

How do I cancel my service?

CANCELLING YOUR ACCOUNT.

You can begin the process of closing your account at any time by contacting Stirit support. Any fees for delivery or a minimum commitment will still apply. You must arrange for and pay the costs, as set out in your Agreement. Our facilities are not publicly accessible, so you must schedule a delivery of your items. You must continue to pay us your full storage charge each month until all of your stuff has been returned to you. We hope you don’t cancel, but if you do, cancel towards the end of your monthly Billing Cycle and make sure all your items are gone by the last day of your monthly Billing Cycle (i.e., the day before your monthly anniversary storing with Stirit).
